TURNING POINT IN VISITORS’ SEASON

TWO out-of-form sides battled their way to a stalemate as Skelmersdale salvaged an unlikely late leveller.
The match began as a fairly even contest but as the half wore on the hosts created numerous chances before opening the scoring on the stroke of half-time when Greg Daniels fed Jerome Wright whose cross was confidently finished by Lee Gaskell.
With the game looking as if it would end with just one goal, Skelmersdale scrambled a 94th minute equaliser when a corner wasn’t cleared and substitute Jordan Darr poked home the levell...
