EARLY morning rain couldn’t stop Alvechurch taking the win. The visitors almost took the lead when Curtis Pond was at full stretch to deny Josh March.
Church keeper Charlie Price was then equal to a George Cater effort as the hosts began to exert some pressure, with chances at a premium.
