■ CAPTAIN Jack Wood’s late goal earned struggling Aylesbury United a priceless victory at Ashford’s expense.
After a poor first half with little betwen the teams, the match came to life with two quickfire goals shortly after the interval.
On 52 minutes, Ollie Hogg struck from the penalty spot after Ashford were penalised for a minor tug in the box.
But the Tangerines came back within three minutes from a corner, Max Webb the scorer to wipe out the Ducks’ advantage.
