HARTLEY began 2018 with a deserved win.
The Row enjoyed the best of the first-half chances through Steven Duff and Rowan Vine. But they were almost made to pay for their profligacy when Mayona Balogun forced a fine save from Freddie Gee.
The second half was two minutes old before Hartley broke the deadlock. Jack French fed Paul Hodges, who, in turn, played in Vine to finish accurately from the edge of the box.
