WINGATE & FINCHLEY were winners over Metropolitan Police, as an Afolabi Obafemi goal was enough to seal three points on a wet, cold afternoon in North London.
It’s now just one defeat in ten league games for Wingate, who were forced to dig deep to seal all three points as Met Police proved stubborn opponents. The only chances of note in a drab first half came via long-range efforts.
