MERSTHAM earned all three points when it mattered most.
Remi Sutton opened the scoring for Thurrock on 30 minutes after a well delivered corner caused a scramble in the box. Sutton picked up the loose ball just outside the area and struck a well-placed shot to the keeper’s left.
Merstham equalised on 38 minutes, with Charlie Penny capping off a delightful counter attacking move. Ryan Hall collected the ball in his own half, looked up, and spotted the run of Alex Addai on the right. Hall split the defence with an exquisite pass with the outside of his right boot. Addai...
