DRAMATIC scenes hit the East Midlands on Saturday afternoon as Stamford delivered an excellent performance to beat Basford 3-1 – the league leaders’ first defeat of the season.
The home side had the perfect start and took the lead after just ten minutes when Bradley Fortnam- Tomlinson struck from the penalty spot, with James Reid dismissed for hand ball on the line.
