DAVIS IS STAYING A CITIZEN

WINCHESTER City boss Craig Davis has revealed he has turned down the advances of a rival Southern League club in order to stay loyal with the play-off chasing Citizens.
Talented Davis joined the cathedral city club from Hampshire rivals Fleet Town last March and has led the club into Evo-Stik South West promotion contention in his first full season at the club.
The unnamed club keen on luring Davis away from the Simplyhealth City ground are said to have a bigger budget than City and also ambitious for promotion to Step 3.
