FOLKESTONEInvicta held on for all three points despite a late rally from Brightlingsea Regent which almost saw the visitors salvage a draw.
Goals from Ronnie Dolan, Joe Taylor and Ian Draycott had seen Invicta lead 3-1 going into the closing stages before substitute Jake Turner made it 3-2 during stoppage time and Josh Gould then headed against the crossbar.
The home side had opened the scoring during first-half added time when Taylor’s ball over from the left was met by a Dolan volley.
