BAILEY’S BACK FOR NEXT PORT OF CALL

TITLE-winning manager Gary Bailey has returned to the hot seat at Portland United following this week’s sacking of Simon Browne.
Bailey led the Islands to the Sydenhams Wessex Premier title last season, before joining the backroom staff at Dorchester Town.
Browne was dismissed after Portland gave away a three-goal lead to lose 4-3 at home to Horndean last Saturday. Assistant manager Jake Richmond has also left the Blues.
The club had won only four home games this season under Browne and were nearly 40 points off the top of the table.
