AFC Hornchurch survived a late scare to secure a priceless victory over Haringey.
Haringey went close with a shot from Anthony McDonald and they were then hindered by the loss of Quba Gordon with an injury after just 13 minutes.
Hornchurch took the lead with their first attack of the match after George Purcell was fouled.
Purcell took the free-kick and curled the ball around the defensive wall and into the net.
