BENFarrell extended AFC Rushden’s lead at the top of the Evo-Stik League South East with a winning penalty in a 2-1 away win at Arlesey.
Joel Gyasi put the visitors ahead just before half-time, cutting inside and firing into the bottom corner.
Arlesey responded almost immediately after the break through a scrappy goal for Henry Musay after Rushden failed to clear a corner. But Farrell secured all three points with a confident finish high and left from the penalty spot after Gyasi was brought down in the box.
