LEAGUE leaders AFC Hornchurch came to Suffolk looking to consolidate their comfortable lead at the top of the Bostik North but they left pointless after Sudbury put in a strong team performance.
The visitors barely managed to muster a shot on target throughout the game.
Hornchurch’s best chance came after just 30 seconds of the match when Joe Whight misjudged a through-ball and Christian Assombalonga raced clear before lobbing over Paul Walker in the home goal, only for the ball to drop just the wrong side of the post.
