TWO second-half goals were enough to ensure that Hayes & Yeading went home with the points at Cambridge City.
The first half saw City have the better of the chances and Ryan Sharman was unlucky not to hit the target when he latched onto a Ryan Towner cross. Salim Relizani also had a decent chance but was denied by Danny Boness as City continued to have the slight advantage in the early stages of the second period.
But it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when Scott Donnelly fired home from a rebound off the bar.
