HYDE produced a workmanlike and professional performance as they saw off a disappointing Kendal Town in some style.
They were helped somewhat by the needless dismissal of Matthew Johnson after 31 minutes but regardless they produced a promising and entertaining performance.
Hyde went ahead after only nine minutes as Tyrone Gray scored the opener.
And it was 2-0 on the half hour mark as Matthew Beadle scored from the penalty spot to put Hyde firmly in control of the game.
Karl Jones made it 3-0 for the home side as he scored.
