LEEK Town lost ground on the play-off places as they suffered an untimely reverse at home to Peterborough Sports.
Dan Trickett-Smith had an early chance which he hooked wide but then Leek gifted their opponents an opening following a defensive lapse and Jordan Mcaleod got in to score.
Further defensive weakness surfaced before the break as Avelino Vieira was left unmarked to score from a corner.
Leek were unable to force their way back with Andre Williams’ belter late on compounding matters.
