WILL Whieldon inspired Chasetown to a 3-0 home win over Carlton Town which did their play-off hopes the world of good.
The home side took the lead in the ninth minute when a Whieldon corner found its way all across to Jake Lovatt, who volleyed across Carlton keeper Jack Steggles into the far corner.
Whieldon then rattled the Carlton crossbar with a free-kick and later saw another effort pushed wide by Steggles.
Danny Cocks bagged Chasetown’s second as Whieldon turned provider again, chipping to an unmarked Cocks who volleyed past the Carlton keep...
