BISHOP’S CLEEVE claimed a vital three points in their fight for survival with a narrow 1-0 win at home against mid-table Kidlington in Evo-Stik South West Division One.
They were forced to dig deep but produced a professional and workmanlike performance as they turned on the style when it mattered and dug out a crucial three points.
Mark Janes did have the ball in the net for the visitors after 20 minutes but it was ruled out for offside in a first half that saw few clear-cut chances as defences and goalkeepers were firmly on top.
