MALDON and Tiptree’s run of defeats continued. The visitors scored after just six minutes when Joe White played in Jack Lankester to score.
The home side had much the better of the second half but the visitors defended well and restricted the home side to mainly hurried half chances. Bury sealed the game with a breakaway goal after 87 minutes when Lankester received a long ball out of defence before putting Cemel Ramadan through on goal and he ran on to beat Chris Haigh.
Oluwole Akinsanya struck the post with a late chance.
