FORMER Premier League defender Jay McEveley has signed for Evo-Stik Premier title chasers Warrington Town on loan until the rest of the season.
The 33-year-old former Blackburn Rovers and Derby County full-back has been left out in the cold atNational League big guns Tranmere Rovers, making only nine starts since joining from Scottish Premiership club Ross County last summer.
Liverpudlian McEveley started his career in the youth system at Everton before moving to Blackburn to complete a scholarship at Ewood Park.
