THURROCK and Met Police cancelled each other out in a true end-of-season encounter. Chances were few and far between in the first-half with the first shot in the 42nd minute.
Thurrock ‘s Joel Nouble fired his effort straight into the arms of Met keeper Thomas Williams before doing the same again moments later.
There was still time for Met Police to have their best chance. Bayley Mummery sped through on goal but he couldn ‘t beat Thurrock keeper Ben McNamara, who saved low to his left.
