PROMOTION-CHASING Cray Wanderers were held to a stalemate at the hands of VCD Athletic.
The visitors played their usual passing game but the Vickers were happy to sit deep, comfortably absorbing the pressure put on them as Cray resorted to long ball football, easily dealt with.
VCD were proving dangerous on the break, Rash Kamara close with a snap-shot that Nick Blue did well to save. Joe Mant then thwarted Charlie MacDonald but Cray struggled for clear chances, though Sammy Dodson saw his effort also saved.
