AFTER leading 2-0 at half time, Maldon & Tiptree ‘s defensive errors were punished as Bowers and Pitsea salvaged a point.
But Bowers went ahead three minutes in as Lee Barnard scored a penalty.
The visitors ‘ hopes deteriorated when Jamie Dicks was dismissed before George Brown ‘s teasing cross ricocheted off visting keeper Callum Chafer and into the net.
But Chafer responded with top saves and his team were rewarded after 67 minutes when Callum Leahy struck past Chris Haigh.
