MET POLICE continued their good recent run of form with this only goal victory at Brightlingsea.
The Met were able to bring experienced journeyman Jon Nurse off the substitute’s bench and he made the decisive contribution with his 79th-minute winner. In an even first half, there was one big chance for either side.
In the 28th minute, the Mets’ Calum Kealy latched onto a long ball out of defence and found himself one-on-one with Brightlingsea keeper James Bradbrook, who was able to make the save.
