HYDE United finished the season unbeaten at home as they defeated Colwyn Bay in a thriller to secure automatic promotion from the Evo-Stik North Division.
The hosts took the lead with a penalty on ten minutes, converted by Tom Pratt, before the away side responded through Jack Hindle. Pratt scored his second of the game on the stroke of halftime to restore Hyde’s lead, before Tyrone Gay gave the Tigers some breathing space shortly after the interval. And they appeared to be home and dry when David Brown added a fourth.
