■WINGATE & Finchley saw out their season with a win courtesy of an 89th minute penalty.
There was an air of two teams who had nothing to play for, with wasteful passing and sloppiness in front of goal.
The visitors had the best chances in the opening period, Rob Laney and Ned Clarke forcing Harlow stopper David Hughes into good saves.
The tempo improved in the second half. Harlow’s Alex Read had the best opportunity when he rounded the goalkeeper, but had to shoot from a tight angle and the ball hit the side netting.
