ROMFORDpulled off the great escape thanks to this win, coupled with Norwich’s defeat at Cheshunt.
Things did not start well when Lee Barnard scored, but Carlos Djalo grabbed an equaliser after rounding the keeper and Ayo Olukoga made it two, sliding the ball home from close range.
Only a win would do and the impressive Kris Newby grabbed a third just after half-time with a low shot from the edge of the box.
