FISHER IS REELED IN BY ROVERS

STANWAY Rovers have named Braintree Town Reserves boss Lee Fisher as their new manager.
He has succeeded Colchester United midfield legend Kem Izzet, who left the club after taking them to eighth place in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division in his first season as player-manager, alongside another former Colchester player, Karl Duguid.
Stanway have now been moved eastwards into the Essex Senior League as part of the FA’s reorganisation of the pyramid.
Fisher has brought Paul Nicholson from Braintree with him as his assistant.
