Denly’s Cannons are preparing for lift off

IT’S not just the fans desperate for the new season to start, Hythe Town manager Sam Denly can’t wait for next Saturday’s big kick-off either!
The Cannons agonisingly missed out on the South playoffs by goal difference last season having amassed 86 points. Now in the South East division, Denly (pictured) is raring to go after weeks of pre-season action.
“I just want the season to start now”, he told Kent Online. “Pre-season games serve a purpose, but it’s about getting down to business now and we’re looking forward to the first league game.
