COLNE maintained their 100 per cent record with a hard-fought win against newly-promoted Widnes in a scrappy yet entertaining match to welcome in the start of autumn.
Colne’s young players were given a stiff test by some experienced Widnes players but they came through with flying colours – hinting at a bright future for the club in the years to come.
