NEWCASTLE Town’s fightback fell short as Prescot Cables held on to continue their fine start.
Prescot took the lead on 11 minutes when Josh Klein-Davies laid the ball back and Morgan Homson-Smith fired home from 25 yards.
Rod Orlando-Young fired over for Castle before Homson-Smith doubled the lead when his cross flew straight in.
Matt Johnson saved well for Castle but the visitors look to have put the game to bed when Chris Almond added a third.
Castle gave themselves some hope when Taylor Attrell volleyed home on the stroke of half-time...
