LIAM Monelle’s winning goal condemned Winchester City to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Paulton Rovers. Tyrell Mitford’s early lob had got the Citizens off to the perfect start but Sam Hedges restored parity.
In a flash, a Paulton own goal came from a Reece Rusher delivery but the visitors came back again to make it 2-2, Joe Hilliard levelling thingsup once again. That set the scene for Monelle to win the day for Rovers, the Paulton forward smashing home 15 minutes from time to dispatch Winchester.
