MARSKE maintained their 11- month unbeaten run at Mount Pleasant thanks to Matty Waters’ second half strike.
The first half saw few clearcut chances, with Rory Coleman coming closest for the visitors with a chip that was batted away volleyballstyle by keeper Robert Dean.
A succession of Marske corners were well held by Jordan Amissah in the Stocksbridge goal until a Matty Waters header was cleared off the line by Liam McFadyen.
In the second half, Waters forced a great save from Amissah with a long range effort.
