BEDFORD saw off Bromsgrove Sporting, ending the table-toppers’ unbeaten run with an emphatic 5-1 victory at the Eyrie.
The first half belonged to the visitors as Niall Cooper in the Bedford goal made two good stops whilst the woodwork kept out a point-blank header from Sporting’s Jason Cowley.
Against the run of play, Bedford took the lead when Paul Benson latched onto a cross from the left to direct the ball in from a yard out.
