BROMSGROVE helped atone for two recent poor league outings with a resolute win over Yaxley.
It was a nightmare start for Sporting, as Daniel Cotton lobbed keeper Dan Crane with a delicatelystruck shot from just inside the area on five minutes but the hosts soon made amends, as endeavour from Jason Cowley allowed him to strike from just outside the box, getting a deflection on the way before nestling in the corner.
