AFC Totton and Yate had to settle for a share of the spoils in an entertaining tussle at the Testwood Community Stadium.
Totton were the better side throughout, creating several chances with Eddie Perrett, Craig Feeney and Ben McLean all going close before the interval.
However, Nick Peare’s brilliant free-kick on the stroke of half-time gave Yate the lead.
Totton were incensed at the referee’s decision but after the break Yate were reduced to ten men when Peare was shown two yellow cards.
