Dour stalemate with two red cards

PROMOTION chasers Trafford and Colne fought out a dour goalless draw in difficult conditions at the First Point Shawe View Stadium.
Neither goalkeeper had to make a save of any note throughout the game, the best chance of the first half falling to the visitors in the 17th minute when Richard Baker shot weakly at Elliot Wynne from the edge of the penalty area.
Colne winger Bradley Lynch twice saw efforts easily saved by Wynne. An unfortunate sending off for Trafford skipper Ally Brown for a second yellow card, failed to inspire the visitors.
