CLEETHORPES Town hammered Carlton Town 5-1 as every game in the division bar one went with the higher-placed team.
The Owls were ahead through a Josh Batty penalty after 20 minutes before he made it two with a header from an Alex Flett free-kick shortly before half-time.
Carlton reduced arrears through Kyle Stovell but it was the visitors who continued to push and Brody Robertson made it three in the second period.
