LINNETS RELIEF AT LATE LATE SHOW

KIDSGROVE ATHLETIC 1
RUNCORN Linnets scraped a victory against Kidsgrove Athletic with two very late goals at the Millbank Linnets Stadium, having trailed for almost 80 minutes of the game.
Kidsgrove’s early goal was scored by Kyle Diskin when he converted James Butler’s long free-kick into the box.
It was one of the few points of note in a largely uninteresting opening 86 minutes of the game.
But the game exploded into life just as most fans were thinking about their evening plans.
