MORPETH Town ground out the points in a disappointing game between two high-flyers.
Morpeth were quick to move the ball out of defence with long balls out to the wide men who were running into the spaces.
The interval came with neither side able to make the break-through and things didn’t improve in the second half when the match became a more bad-tempered affair featuring tasty challenges.
Ossett’s Adam Priestley was dismissed for a second yellow card with 20 minutes remaining which made the home side’s task harder.
