Lame Nailers fail to hit the mark

BELPER Town were held to a goalless draw at home to Spalding United in a dour endof- season affair at the Silver X Stadium.
The Nailers dominated the majority of possession throughout the afternoon but were unable to create enough clear-cut chances to find an elusive goal.
Sam Colbear came the closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when his powerful header forced Michael Duggan into a good save.
The visitors restricted Belper to a number of long-range efforts and Craig Nelthorpe twice came close from distance.
