A wonder strike from Jonathan Hood earned Barry Town United a 2-1 win at promoted Penybont in the Welsh Premier opener.
Kane Owen had earlier given Penybont, who went all of last season unbeaten, a dream start to life in the top flight when he netted the opener from the penalty spot just after half time.
However that lead lasted just six minutes with Kayne McLaggon levelling for Barry.
The decisive moment came in the 65th minute, with Hood flashing a shot past Rhys Wilson from just outside the box.
