PAULTON edged a tough tackling Moneyfields team on a hot afternoon. Steve Hitchings converted an early Moneyfields penalty after Lamin Jetta was tripped by Craig Allan, with the visitors controlling thereon. The early part of the second half was scrappy with Paulton make several tactical chances with Ed Butcher, now on the left, levelling with a low crossshot.
Rovers went ahead two minutes later as Butcher was brought down and Ben Bament struck a fierce penalty passed Hallett.
