DAVE Allen spurned a golden opportunity from the penalty spot as AFC Totton drew with Basingstoke Town.
Craig Feeney was hacked down just two minutes into the game at the Testwood Stadium but Allen saw his penalty saved by Chris Rackley in what would be the best chance to take three points from the match.
Basingstoke could well have scored just five minutes later but Claudio Herbert was judged to have been offside as he turned home Reece Rusher’s saved shot.
