HYTHE Town’s impressive second-half performance made the difference as they ran out winners at Herne Bay.
Frannie Collin open the scoring after eight minutes into the second half after a very even first half where Herne Bay forced Hythe Town keeper Will Godman into two fine saves.
Godman’s heroics proved key as Bay were second best in the second half, unable to replicate their impressive opening period.
And substitute Tom Walmsley made sure of all three points for Town when latching onto a stray back-pass, rounding the keeper and firing into an empty net.
