■ BRENTWOOD recorded their first league win of the season at the seventh attempt.
Andy Freeman put the Blues ahead in the sixth minute, finishing well from Tom Anderson’s through ball, but Tom Maycock got behind the Brentwood defence to equalise for the visitors in the 18th minute.
When Freeman was fouled, centre-back Zak Pianim stepped up to restore the home side’s lead from the penalty spot two minutes before half-time.
