IT WAS AN entertaining game at Hillgrounds as North Leigh produced an excellent second-half display to beat Kempston Rovers 4-2 in the Southern League Central Division.
An early goal from Josh Dutton-Black put the visitors ahead, before Kempston captain and talisman Izale McLeod levelled with a brilliant strike into the bottom corner.
A minute after conceding, North Leigh goalkeeper Eddie Cavanagh brought down McLeod in the box to concede a penalty, but villain turned into hero as he saved McLeod’s spot-kick.
