GOING into this fi xture the Green Lions boasted an unbeaten Isthmian League record at the Kent Vehicles Stadium since joining the division.
But that record was torn up in convincing fashion as Herne Bay dominated to go home with a comprehensive 3-1 victory.
Two penalties, both converted by Zac Ansah, secured the win.
Bay dominated the first half and it was only thanks to a number of brave and impressive saves from Callum Stanton in the Guernsey goal that the scoreline wasn’t more one-sided at the interval.
