THOMAS Hitchcock scored twice as Bedford Town ended an emotional week by putting six past Wantage Town at The Eyrie in the Southern Central Division.
The Eagles tragically lost their main director David Taylor earlier in the week but checked their emotions as they delivered a brilliant attacking display to down Wantage.
The hosts dominated from the get go but try as they might in the first half goals went abegging until Hitchcock struck just before the break to give them a deserved lead.
