HIGHWORTH are now only outside the play-offs on goal difference after a hard-fought win over Cinderford Town.
Chris Taylor opened the scoring for Highworth in the 8th minute with a delightful curling shot from the edge of the box after Jacob Davidge’s pass.
And despite pressure from the home side, Highworth doubled their lead early in the second half through Davidge’s header.
And although Cinderford didn’t pull one back until Andy Lewis’ 93rd minute header at the back post, things could have been different.
